Maxence has nearly 5 years of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) in Europe and specializes in the small and mid-cap segments. After valuable experience at Oaklins, Amala Partners, and Investec, he joined the Affic team in July 2025 to contribute to the development of the M&A/Corporate Finance practice.

• Since July 2025: Senior Associate Corporate Finance at AFFIC (Africa – Finance Capital)
• Between January 2023 and June 2025, he worked on various divestiture, acquisition, and financing transactions, primarily with investment funds, at Investec in Paris (formerly Capitalmind), where he was quickly promoted to M&A Associate. He was involved in transactions ranging from €30 million to €300 million (enterprise value) across diverse sectors: business services (Meogroup, a consulting firm), ICT (Ekoscan, technological solutions for critical infrastructure inspection), agriculture (Bioline AgroSciences, biosolutions), retail (Sophie Lebreuilly bakeries), industry (No-Nail Boxes, plywood packaging), and healthcare (Axience, an animal health laboratory). He also has two months of experience with the GP Advisory teams at Investec's London office.
• Prior to 2023, Maxence gained experience in M&A at the boutiques Amala Partners and Oaklins and was involved in several transactions, including Vacanceselect, The Independents, Les 2 Marmottes, and Babymoov. He also has experience with the pan-European investment fund Abénex.
